Will County Commissioner Mike Fricilone is the projected winner for the Republican nomination in Illinois’s 3rd Congressional District. Fricilone captured %% of the vote in a three-way primary.

Fricilone ran to show the public what real Republican values were about after self-avowed, neo-Nazi Art Jones filed as a Republican to run against Congressman Dan Lipinski in 2018. He is a pro-life conservative and supports President Trump. He’s not sure about climate change but believes the country needs a 21st century energy policy utilizing current sources and nuclear energy.

The other challengers were Oak Lawn real estate broker Catherine O’Shea and perennial candidate Jones. Fricilone will face Democrat Marie Newman in November.
