'Monster' Told Family 'Are You All Ready To Die Today?'
A GoFundMe aims to raise $50,000 following Saturday's horrific gunshot murder of infant Colton Miller in Joliet.

JOLIET, IL — A GoFundMe account aims to raise $50,000 to help the grieving Joliet mother whose infant son was murdered by his father, Christopher Michael Miller. On Monday, the Kendall County Coroner's Office announced the 18-month-old boy was fatally shot multiple times by his 35-year-old father, Christopher Michael Miller, who later died of multiple self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The murder-suicide happened in Joliet's Windsor Ridge subdivision in the 8300 block of Buckingham Road.
According to the GoFundMe called "Colton's Legacy," Cassandra Tanner-Miller, her 9-year-old daughter Camryn and Tanner-Miller's 18-month-old son, Colton, were having a normal Saturday afternoon, getting ready for Colton's nap time.
"When she was putting away the groceries, she saw a figure move past her back door and realized it was her estranged husband," the GoFundMe narrative explains. "He presumed to break into her house through the back door in which she pushed Cam behind her. The monster came into her house with a smile on his face and said, 'Are you all ready to die today? We're all dying today!'
