More Gun Charges For Joliet Felon James Faint
Two new criminal complaints were filed recently against James Faint, a Joliet man from Elmwood Avenue. So far, he hasn't been captured.

JOLIET, IL — It's been a year since James Faint was last in the Will County Jail, but last week, Will County prosecutors filed two new criminal complaints against the Joliet 22-year-old.
One of the complaints charges Faint with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. On May 8, Faint sped away from Joliet police trying to pull him over on Oneida Street, court records show. Faint was carrying a Taurus 9 mm pistol even though he had not been issued a currently valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card, the complaint noted.
For that case, Will County Judge Fred Harvey has issued a warrant for Faint's arrest and set bail at $100,000. Faint lives in the 600 block of Elmwood Avenue.

In the second case, Will County prosecutors contend that Faint was in possession of a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver on June 13, despite his 2018 Will County felony conviction for theft.
In connection with the June 13 incident, Faint has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by felon, and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
