Man, 58, Dies After Joliet Crash On Theodore St.
The Joliet Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider died Friday at St. Joe's hospital. He was thrown from his bike he drove on Theodore Street.

JOLIET, IL — The 58-year-old Joliet man who was seriously injured riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle Thursday evening on Joliet's far west side has died, Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English announced Friday afternoon.
The Joliet Police Department has been notified by the Will County Coroner's Office that the 58 -year-old man motorcyclist involved in the serious crash died Friday morning at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center, English said.
The Will County Coroner's Office identified the motorcycle fatality victim as Ronald Favia.

Joliet police said a 40-year-old Plainfield man was driving a Chrysler 300c eastbound on Theodore when he turned left toward Wesmere Parkway, colliding with the 58-year-old motorcyclist.
The wreck happened at 6:53 p.m.

According to the Joliet fire chief, the driver of the motorcycle was lying on the ground with bystanders performing CPR. He was treated and rapid transported to Ascension St. Joe's in critical condition. The driver of the car, a 40-year-old Plainfield man, was uninjured in the collision.
The Joliet Police Department is investigating the accident, Fire Chief Greg Blaskey noted.
