JOLIET, IL— Four days after a 25-year-old Romeoville man was gunned down inside his parked car in Joliet's St. Patrick's Neighborhood, Joliet police arrested 41-year-old Joliet resident Jorge Rosas on multiple counts of murder.

Rosas, the Joliet Police Department noted, now faces three counts of first-degree murder, plus charges of aggravated discharge of a gun and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. At 12:01 a.m. Monday, Ivan Perez-Garcia was fatally shot inside his parked car in the 100 block of Seeser Street.

In the aftermath of the street killing, Joliet detectives identified Rosas as their prime suspect. On Friday, the Will County State's Attorney's Office approved the charges against Rosas and a warrant for his arrest, including a $5 million, was signed by a Will County judge.
