JOLIET, IL - Last summer's first-ever Great Joliet Prison Break-In, a fundraiser for the ongoing restoration efforts at the Old Joliet Prison, was considered a tremendous success. The event inside the limestone walls of the world-famous 1858-era prison on Joliet's east side raised nearly $135,000.

Now, organizers from the Joliet Area Historical Museum are unveiling their music lineup for the second annual event. It'll be from 4 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24.

"Over 3,500 attendees partied the night away at last year’s event. And, for 2019, it’s time to go even bigger!" its website proclaims.

"Since 1964 Chicago’s IDES OF MARCH have thrilled audiences throughout the United States and Canada with their mix of rocking guitars, brilliant brass, and heartfelt vocals," organizers announced.
