A Closer Look At Braidwood's Oct. 19 Drug Raid
Besides Braidwood, defendants live in Bolingbrook, Custer Park, Coal City, Gardner, Godley,Plainfield, Richton Park and Wilmington.

JOLIET, IL - Less than 10 days ago, the Braidwood Police Department, about 25 miles southwest of Joliet, announced it broke up a major heroin and cocaine ring in their community of 6,000.
A few of the suspected drug pushers are still on the lam, but there's a good chance the Will County Sheriff's Department warrants division will find them. A dozen of the drug-dealing suspects were rounded up on October 19.
Many of the inmates reside around Braidwood, but others are from as far away as Bolingbrook.

What do the inmates have in common? None of them have much money. None has been able to post bond since they were put in jail on Thursday morning, October 19. This means that empty beds at the Will County jail will be at a premium, especially as the Christmas holidays approach.
