JD's BBQ To Open In Joliet On Ruby Street
The new restaurant will be filling the void created when Chicago Style Grill left 221 Ruby Street in July.

JOLIET, IL —Last summer, the Chicago Street Grill closed its Joliet location on Ruby Street after a dispute with its landlord concerning the condition of the building. Now, a sign for JD's BBQ is on the building. On Monday, Rico Wilson told Joliet Patch he anticipates opening his JD's BBQ at 221 Ruby St. in about two more weeks.
"Can’t wait want my bbq turkey leg delicious," one of his Facebook followers replied.
Wilson already has quite a following in the Joliet area. For not even being open yet, Wilson's Facebook page for JD's BBQ already has 920 followers and 884 likes.

"What's up everybody. A lot of people have been asking when I'm going to open, so I'm giving to give you all a quick update and let you all know I'm over here working," Wilson informed his Facebook followers in a recent video he posted on JD's BBQ. "Just got my windows professionally tinted. They started on my decals today.
"Right now, we're going to do carryout only. We've got the liquor license coming, so we will have the video gaming. I threw in a little something extra. We're also going to do a hookah lounge out here too. So, just a quick little update, letting you know I'm out here working. Give me about two more weeks and we'll be open."
