New Will County Jail Inmates Oct. 29
The new inmates are from Joliet, Lockport, Naperville and Monee.

JOLIET, IL — The following people were arrested by police agencies in Will County and brought to the Will County Jail since Wednesday, Oct. 28. Here are the reasons for the arrests.
Misty Jerz, 24, 300 block of Siegmund Street, Joliet. Arrested by Will County Sheriff's Office on a remand from court related to a 2017 burglary charge.

Jorge Rosas, 41, 100 block of Baker Avenue in Joliet. Arrested by Joliet police on charges of carrying and possessing a concealed gun, manufacture and delivery of marijuana, driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Richard Cheek, 53, 500 block of Douglas Street, Joliet. Arrested by Joliet police on charges of violating the sex offender registry. According to the Illinois State Police registry, Cheek was 43 and his victim was 11 at the time Cheek committed two counts of aggravated sexual abuse in Kendall County.

John Kinser, 53, West Main Street in Monee. Arrested by Joliet police on charge of failure to report annually. According to the Illinois state police registry, Kinser was 38 and his victim was 16 at the time he was convicted in Du Page County of indecent solicitation of a child. He also has a conviction for violating the sex offender registration.

Jody Cooley, 50, 300 block of Youngs Avenue apartment units in Joliet. Arrested by Joliet police on charges of failure to report annually. According to the state police registry, Cooley was 25 and his victim was 13 when he was convicted in Will County of aggravated criminal sexual abuse causing bodily harm.

Emile Abernathy, 61, 600 block of Water Street in Joliet. Arrested by Joliet police on charges of failure to report annually. Abernathy was 56 and his victim was 6 at the time he was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Will County.

Donnie Jones, 47, Riverview Avenue in Lockport. Arrested by Joliet police on charges of resisting the arrest and aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

Nicole Anthony, 23, Snowbird Lane in Naperville. Arrested by Naperville police on two domestic battery charges.
