The Nightmare Revealed: Hickory Street Strangler Josh Miner Tells All

A couple years ago, Josh Miner starred in the most notorious murder case in the history of Joliet.

The story made international news and played out like a revolting Rob Zombie horror movie, with two young men and two young women telling the cops about having sex atop freshly killed bodies after gorging themselves on drugs and alcohol.

Miner cut such a frightening figure that prosecutors called for the judge to have the young man chained like an animal throughout his murder trial. The judge refused the request.

Now Miner, 26, has been locked away for the rest of his life, far from home in a dreary prison at the bottom of Illinois. But Patch visited him there and he held back nothing when questioned about his past, the three others arrested with him for murder, what he sees in his future, what he has done to his body, how the night he killed a man unfolded, and why it happened. And it has all been captured on video.
