Albert Joseph Snyder, Jr.

Albert Joseph Snyder, Jr., passed away at the age of 81, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the Symphony of Joliet. He was born in Joliet on September 16, 1938, the son of the late Albert Joseph Snyder, Sr. and Olga (nee Kocolowski) Snyder.

Albert enjoyed a rewarding career as an elementary school teacher for children of United States diplomatic employees and military brass in private United States run schools with assignments in various European countries.

Albert was the beloved brother of Arlette (Lawrence) Seppi and Steven (Virginia) Snyder; nephews, Nicholas, Samuel and Jonathon Frattini and Joseph and Daniel Snyder; niece, Brooke Seppi; and brother-in-law, Richard Butler. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Patricia Snyder and Mary Butler; and his brother, James M. Snyder.

Funeral Services were held privately by the family and interment took place at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Arrangements have been handled under the care and guidance of the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. Memorials in his name to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
