Amparo (nee Guerrero) Padilla, age 79, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Edward Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her children, Lisa (Bernie) Arteaga, Leticia (Hermes) Padilla, Luis R. (Martha Serrano) Robles, Maricela (Pedro Garcia) Padilla, Hermelindo (Leticia) Padilla, Jr., and Vanessa Padilla; 11 grandchildren, Monica, Andy, Gabriel, Mike, Andrea, Alex, Christian, Ricardo, Ariana, Jordan and Sophia; and her siblings, Rachael Guerrero, Rosemary Rembos, Deacon Manuel Guerrero, Fernando Guerrero and Alice Moctezuma. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation for Amparo Padilla will be Friday, January 18, 2019, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Funeral Services will be Saturday, at 9:45 a.m., from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 129 S.
