Age 88 of Elk Grove Village, IL and formerly of Sun City, AZ, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 19, 2022 surrounded by her loving children. Anna was born in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Mary (nee Glass) and Albert Hasse on May 17, 1934.

AnnaMarie graduated from St. Francis Academy in Joliet. She was well-read and loved to complete crossword puzzles. She enjoyed crocheting and playing Solitare. She will be remembered as a wonderful caregiver, always taking care of others.

Anna Marie is survived by her children, Janet Marie Blazevic, James (Kathy) Blazevic and Thomas (Peggy) Blazevic; proud grandma of Robert, Kaitlyn, Melissa and Madeline; Austin and Abigail; Cory and the late Cody; several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald G. Blazevic (2006); her parents; one grandson; brother, Mickey (Marianne) Hasse; and sister, Madeline Hasse.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Alzhiemer’s Association.

Funeral services for AnnaMarie Blazevic will be Friday, December 30, 2022 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.
