Ashley Marie McReynolds, age 28, a lifelong Joliet area resident, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Methodist Hospital Southlake in Merrillville, IN.

Born on December 13, 1993, to Robin (Cox) Ludeman and Shawn McReynolds, Ashley attended Joliet elementary and high schools.

Ashley was a beautiful and creative young woman who had a love of music, a talent for drawing, and an artistic flair for fashion. In her early teen years, she enjoyed singing with the choir on Sunday mornings at St. Jude Catholic Church. She will be missed deeply by those who love her.

Ashley is survived by her two children, son, Xavier McReynolds and daughter, Jordan Adams; three brothers, Michael Newton, and Thomas and Jacob Ludeman; her parents; step-father, Thomas Ludeman; grandparents, Dr. Les (Debbie) Cox, Suzanne (Michael) Broyles, Gloria Napoli; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

To share the precious gift of life with others, Ashley’s organs have been donated to Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network of Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Joliet.
