Betty Lou Vogt
Age 96, of the Joliet, IL area and formerly the Minocqua and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin areas for over 25 years, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital.

Betty Lou was born in Eau Claire, WI, on June 3, 1927 to the late Mildred (nee Stanton) and Levi Colby.
Surviving are her son, Donald (Mary) Vogt of Shorewood, IL; and three grandchildren, Colleen Vogt, Kate (Aaron) Wurster and Jonathan Vogt. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, WIlliam W. Vogt; her parents; brothers, Pvt. Donald J. Colby, Merle Colby, Roland Colby, Byron Colby and Roger Colby and her infant sister, Grace Colby.
Betty Lou was a switchboard operator for many years and worked for the Joliet Herald News.
Private Funeral services will be held with Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, WI.
