Carrie Lynn Fitzgerald

Carrie Lynn Fitzgerald, age 54, passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2023 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Carrie was born March 3, 1968 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of the late Hugh Clarke Kleckner and Mary Anne (nee Spiezio) Theobald. She was raised and educated in Joliet, attending St. Paul the Apostle grade school, and a graduate of Joliet West High School class of 1986.

Carrie loved being a cosmetologist and worked at several area salons including Command Performance, A Cut Above, and most recently Salon Meta. She motivated many of her co-workers by being a motivational speaker in which she took great pride in. Carrie loved gardening and tended to her garden with great passion and care. The Bible brought great comfort to Carrie, and she loved to discuss passages with those around her.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Marissa Fitzgerald; her parents, William and Mary Anne Theobald; sisters, Kelli (Rob) Juritza, and Tracy (Russ) Vulpitta; brother, Ryan Theobald; her nieces and nephews, Nicholas Juritza, Giada Juritza, Lana (Charles) Johnson, Rachel Vulpitta, and Elliott Vulpitta; and several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her special cat, Zoe, that was always by her side.

Carrie Lynn Fitzgerald's Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. ( at Essington), Joliet, IL , from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carrie's name to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
