Christie Lynn Becker, passed away at the age of 49, on Monday, December 9, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Christie was born on October 7, 1975, the daughter of Michael Lynn Becker and Virginia Pacheco.

Christie brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of her family with her kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless unconditional love. The depth of love and happiness she shared will forever remain in their hearts.

Christie is survived by her mother, Virginia Pacheco Pedrosa; grandmother, Vincenta Eva Pacheco; siblings, Deannie Jo Kocielko, Teresea Pedrosa, Vicente Pedrosa, Sr., Richard (Kelly) Pedrosa, Ramona Pedrosa, and Richelle Pedrosa; aunts, Carmen (Joe) Pacheco-Spillie and Mary Elaine Pacheco; uncle, Ricardo (Elizabeth) Pacheco Jr.; and her cousins, Vicente Pedrosa, Jr., Christopher Pedrosa, Resea Lollar, Marie Beckham, Jennifer Alamillo, and Stefanie, Richie, David, Devin, and Dyllan Pacheco. Numerous nieces and nephews, also survive.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ricardo Pacheco, Sr.; uncle, David Pacheco Sr.; and her step-father, Richard Pedrosa.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2024, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
