She is survived by her mother, Loka (Steve) Reyes; father, Ruben (Cynthia) Camacho; brudder, Rory (Erika) Camacho and her udder brudder, Douglas (Diana) Camacho; her bonus momma/best friend/cousin in law, Laura Abel and her children, Sophia and Andrew; step brothers, Steven, Mike (Alexis) and Tyler; nieces and nephews, John, Ally, Abby, Syd, Vince, Olivia and Misha; boyfriend, Brandon and his daughter Rose; her aunts and uncles, Isidro (Sandy) Camacho, Diane (Bill) Weigel, Ida (Lee) Riley, Criselda (Mario) Diaz, Ed Grant, and Cheryl (Frank) Haglund. Numerous cousins, friends and admirers, as well as her "fur baby" Riley, also survive.

Preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Jane and Ed Grant, and Gregoria and Ysidro Camacho; uncle Raul Camacho; step-grandmother, Alice Castillo and her fur babies, Batman and Baxter.

Cristina will be fondly remembered for inheriting the Camacho quick wit and wry sense of humor. She was always at the ready with a pun or inappropriate joke. She was an unapologetic, awkward, and anxious mess sometimes. She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She adored her dogs, but was always kind to all the woodland creatures she came across. She found peace being near water; a beach, lake, or a pool. She was a Cubs fan who loved basking in the sun at Wrigley Field with a hotdog and a cold beer. Although she liked to be a homebody and just spend time watching her shows with her dogs, she also had an adventurous streak. Participating in the Warrior Dash, trying new restaurants, going to concerts, or finding a new hiking trail or park with her fur babies. Those who raised her and grew up with her will remember her as the little ballerina, watching her perform in recitals with Shirley's dance studio. With her big smile, funny faces, and long hair she will be missed by many. Her stories will continue to make us laugh until we have tears in our eyes.

All friends and relatives are invited to Cristina's celebration of life on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet on Wednesday September 10, 2025 from 3-8 p.m., with a service of remembrance beginning at 6 p.m. All attending are welcome to come in formal wear, or your favorite baseball team or canine attire.
