Darlyne Eisenschenk (nee Tortorice)
Darlyne Eisenschenk, passed away peacefully, at the age of 81, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on September 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Anthony and Golda (nee Fox) Tortorice.

Darlyne is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Michael) Smit; son John (Kim) Eisenschenk; grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Eisenschenk; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
In life, she loved fiercely and had a great sense of humor. Darlyne loved listening to the Bee Gees and had a very feisty personality about her.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
