Gayle L. Waranoski

(nee Geller),

Gayle L. Waranoski, age 78, of Channahon for the past nineteen years and formerly of Plainfield, Chicago and Munster, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Gayle is survived by her children, Lori (Craig) Palmer, Larry R. (Beth) Waranoski, Kerry (Shaun) Kristensen, and Kris (Jose) Waranoski; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Waranoski, Amanda Bayles, Shaun Jr. and Mia Kristensen; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Lawrence (Shirley) Deckard, and Lynda (John) Neighbors. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Lawrence (Larry) Waranoski; and parents, Gilbert and Evelyn Geller.

Funeral services for Gayle L. Waranoski will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 12:00 noon, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL. Inurnment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice or Resurrection Lutheran Church, 205050 West Eames Street, Channahon, IL 60410 would be appreciated.
