Gerald R. “Jerry” Feldman

Age 87, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 26, 2025, at Journey Care of Barrington. Jerry was born September 19, 1937, to the late Margaret Cecilia (Keith) and Fred Joseph Feldman in Chicago, where he was raised and educated.

He served his Country proudly as a member of the U.S Army.

Jerry, a Diesel Mechanic by trade, retired after many years of dedicated service. He could fix just about anything. In his free time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing.

He is the beloved father of Tim (Cheryl), Fred, Joe (Gina), the late Ruthie Feldman and Marge (Chuck) Potts; dear grandfather of Crystal, Robert, Shannon, Jasmine, Kimberly, Bradley, Jorie, Nikki, Kayla, Dana and Cory; proud great-grandpa of 28. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. Feldman; daughter, Ruthie; his parents; and siblings.

As it was Jerry’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
