Age 81, of Joliet, Illinois passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Geraldine was born on April 20, 1943 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Steve and Rose Picco (nee Malnar).

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Edward V. Foschi; husband, Edward Foschi, and sister, Carolyn (Dallas) Good.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Stephen (Anita Pfeiffer) Foschi, Jeffrey Foschi, Jack (Arin Freeman) Foschi, and Alfred Foschi; grandchildren, Jacob, Brittany, Rikki, Jasmine and Courtney(Thomas) (Owen). Also surviving are Barb Dillard, who gave her wonderful care and loved her like her own mother; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren.

Geraldine worked at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home for nearly 25 years and was well known for the amazing decorations for Christmas and other holidays. She loved football and never hid her obsession with the Green Bay Packers, or her dogs, Maxx, Toto, and Simba.

Visitation for Deena Foschi will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
