Jeanne R. Simon
Jeanne R. Simon, 75, passed away peacefully, on August 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago on November 27, 1949, to Ralph and Gertrude (nee Whitthoft) Rukheim.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Michelle Russell (George Franks) and John (Carrie) Simon; four grandchildren, Amanda, John, DaKota, and Tyler; two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Miles; her sister, Doris; and brother, Ronald. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Justin.

Memorial Gathering for Jeanne R. Simon will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
