Kay L. Sandeen, passed away peacefully at the age of 75, on Monday, May 1, 2023.
Kay was born in Kankakee, IL, on May 3, 1947, to the late Glenn and Marie (nee Hall) Stearman. She was raised in Lockport and was a lifelong resident. Kay attended Fairmont Grade School and graduated from Lockport Township High School Class of 1965.

Kay retired from Mobil Chemical as a press operator. She previously worked as a press operator printing Campbell Soup can labels. Kay loved swimming, boating, and spending time in Lake Geneva, WI.
Kay is the beloved mother of Kevin (Dianna) Sandeen; and dearest sister of Janine (Terry) Parr, Becky (Drew) Stahlman and Debbie (Steve) Pearson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Kay L. Sandeen will be held privately by the family. As it was Kay's request cremation rites have been accorded. Kay will be laid to rest near her parents at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Family Centered Hospice, 2171 Executive Drive, Suite 450, Addison, IL, 60101, would be appreciated.
