Kevin L. Rose, age 53, of Manhattan, IL, passed away on April 8, 2023 at University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital, Chicago, IL. He was born April 18, 1969 in Chicago, IL to the late Theresa (nee Battles) and Keith Sebron Rose, Sr.
Kevin grew up in the Hyde Park neighborhood and attended De La Salle Institute, Chicago, IL. He worked for CenTrio Energy as a Chief Operating Engineer for 27 years. He was a member of International Union of Union Engineers, Local 399. He was an avid football fan and loved to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines. He also enjoyed watching the L.A. Lakers.

Survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly (nee Adger); father, Keith (Willean) Rose, Sr.; children, Jordan and Jayla Rose; and brother, Keith Rose, Jr.; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Battles; and grandmother, Lenore Battles.
Memorial visitation for Kevin L. Rose will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.), Joliet, IL, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. As it was his request, cremation rites have been accorded.
