A dedicated, hardworking individual and lifelong Joliet area resident has passed away at 86.

Margaret Ann Leimann

Margaret Ann Leimann, age 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the Lightways Hospice Home, Joliet. Born in Joliet on June 7, 1935 to the late Stefan Trizna and Margaret Westbrook, she was a lifelong area resident. Margaret worked for many years as a waitress and eventually manager at the Colonial Steakhouse in Romeoville. She was a dedicated and hardworking individual, and a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.

Margaret is survived by her six children, Lisa Grant, Lori (Jim) McGee, George (Athena) Leimann,Jr., Mark Leimann, John Leimann, and Maggie (Jim) Burgholzer; grandchildren Alicia, Christopher (Vianey), Janice, Kelli (Rob), Jennifer (Matt), Matthew, Ethan, Sydney, Jennifer, Andrew (Casey), Stephanie (Bill), Stephanie, Michael (Mariellen), and Megan (Nick); 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special niece Lynn (Bruce) Carter.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Leimann, Sr.; her parents, sister Rosan Donbier, and a brother in infancy, Jerome Trizna.
