Mary Margaret Rayhorn, (nee Salazar) age 67, of Shorewood, and formerly of Chicago, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Kindred Hospital, Sycamore, following a courageous 30 year battle with multiple sclerosis.

Surviving are her loving children, Susan (Scott Bulow) Padilla of Shorewood and James (Hannah) Rayhorn, Jr. of Rockdale; her beloved grandchildren, Mark, Mandi, Matt, Madison, J.T., and Aimee; one brother, Joseph (Barbara) Salazar; one sister, Barbara (Max) Narancich; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Eugene Rayhorn, Sr. (June 6, 2012); and her parents, Joseph and Helen Salazar.

Visitation for Mary Rayhorn will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet. Interment will be private.
