Age 66, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center with her loving husband by her side. Marylou was born in Evergreen Park, IL, the daughter of the late Frank and Louise (nee Janczyk) Heles, and was a longtime resident of Chicago and Alsip. She married Daniel P. Miller on December 3, 1977 and they made their home in Orland Park before relocating to Shorewood in 2007. Marylou was a graduate of Mother of Sorrows High School, Class of 1969. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, Sudoku and loved bowling on Friday mornings with her friends.

Marylou is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Daniel P. Miller of Shorewood; her two children, Michael P. (Renee) Miller of Plainfield and Jennifer A. Miller of Hebron, IN; her grandson, Carter James Miller; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends including Rick and Mary Ann Deutsch of Orland Park.

She was preceded by her parents and her sister, Diane Deutsch.

Visitation for Marylou T. Miller will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Will County Humane Society would be appreciated.
