Michael Clinton Skinner, late of Plainfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 17, 2021. Mike was born in Oak Lawn and was formerly of Crest Hill. He was a graduate of Lockport Township High School Class of 2004. During high school he was part of the cross country, track and field program, as well as a member of the basketball team. Mike was a member of the Plumbers Union Local #130, most recently employed by R.R. Plumbing.

Mike was into fitness and was a true people person who lended a hand whenever needed. He was a loving son, brother, step-brother and uncle.

Surviving is his loving mother, Joanne (Nick) Latzko; his father, Thomas Skinner; two brothers, Kyle (Pierra) Skinner and Chris (Emily) Skinner; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded by his maternal grandfather, John Forden (2019); his uncle, Gerald J. Forden (2011).

Visitation for Michael Clinton Skinner will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, from 4:00 p.m. until Sharing of Memories at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately by the family.
