Myron "Bunny" Angelus

Myron Angelus, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at River Crossing of Joliet, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on October 12, 1938 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late William and Josephine (nee Strainer) Angelus. Myron was an avid dancer. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping and fishing. He especially enjoyed traveling with his camper throughout the United States. He was a lifetime member of the Braidwood Recreation Club.

Bunny is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Sue Angelus; his children; Mark (Pam) Angelus, Steve (Kathi) Angelus, and Michael (Cindy) Angelus, all of Plainfield; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; his sister, Janet Richmond of California; and brothers-in-law, Tom (Yola) Stein of Pennsylvania, and Jim (Audrey) Stein of Plainfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Myron is preceded in death by his parents; son, John Angelus(2014); his sister Mary White and brother, George Angelus.

A Memorial Visitation for Myron "Bunny" Angelus be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black (at Essington) Rd., Joliet, starting at 12:00 noon and concluding with services at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to Lightways Hospice of Joliet.
