Her kindness and fun loving nature brought many smiles to all who had the privelage of knowing her.

Nina Genevieve Harris
Nina Genevieve Harris, age 88, of Joliet, IL, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Covenant Living at Windsor Park, Carol Stream, IL. She was born May 7, 1936, in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada to the late Clara (nee. Benedict) and Lloyd Phelps.

After raising her family, she was the office manager of Midwest Heart Specialists. She was an active parishioner of 1st Baptist Church in Downers Grove. Nina loved to crochet and over the years, donated many hats to Edward Cancer Center, Naperville.
Nina is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald W. Harris and her parents.
Visitation for Nina G. Harris will be Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd (at Essington Rd) Joliet. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Covenant Living at Windsor Park- Benevolent Care, 124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
