Pascuala “Patsy” Roman

Age 68, of Plainfield, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 surrounded by her three loving sons at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center, after battling with dementia for the last few years. She was born on November 29, 1953, the daughter of the late Francisco & Amada Roman.

Patsy was very creative and had a passion for ceramics, sewing, arts and crafts. She loved music, especially dancing and singing to it. She was such a happy person, always laughing and her laugh was very contagious. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Roberto (Diana Rodriguez) Madera, Jose E. (Yesinia Melo) Madera and Jorge (Michelle) Madera; five grandchildren, Leoploldo A. Madera, Jovanny Pinto, Jacob, Rebecca and Aiden Madera; and four sisters, Rocelia Roman de Gonzalez, Frances Roman, Nelly Roman and Elizabeth Roman Merced.

She is preceded by her brothers, Wilfredo, David and Frank Roman.

Visitation for Pascuala Roman will be held Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Fred C. Dames Funeral, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 25, 2022 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 129 S. Division Street, Plainfield, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery.
