Age 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 1946, the daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve (nee Lance) Ceci. Patti retired from Symphony of Joliet, formerly Deerbrook Nursing Home, in 2010 after over 20 years of dedicated service. She loved to cook, and made a delicious pork stew on the very night she passed away. Patti enjoyed watching cooking shows and SVU, spending time with her friends, and going out to dinner, but nothing was more important than spending time with her children and grandson.

Patti is survived by her two children, Kirk Pelton and Megan (Rick) Churnovic; one grandson, Ricky Churnovic; and siblings, Edward Ceci and Richard (Dorothy) Ceci. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded by her parents; siblings, Leo Ceci and Shirley Garcia; and her faithful canine companion, Roxy.

A Memorial Gathering for Patricia Ann Pelton will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until time of Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
