Age 72, of Joliet, Illinois passed away Thursday morning, December 12, 2024, at St. Joseph Medical Center.

Patti was born in Peoria, Illinois on August 15, 1952, to the late Hazel and William Poole. She was raised in Crest Hill and graduated with the class of 1970 from Lockport West High School.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald “Ron” Elias; her son, Bradley Stalker and three daughters, Jillian (Lance) Becker, Terra Spiess and Deann (Terry) Zauratsky; grandchildren, Hayley, Anthony, Austin, Brock, Payton, Ryder, Brennen and Mason; four great-grandchildren; her brother, William Poole; sister, Susan (Mark) Tomany; sister-in-law, Felicia Elias (Mark Secor); as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jon Poole; and sister-in-law, Sharon (nee Hester) Poole.

Patti retired from St. Joseph Medical Center as an Administrative Assistant. She served the hospital in various capacities throughout her 37 year career. Her hobbies included collecting nativity scenes and music boxes, as well as reading and solving puzzles. She was also known to enjoy the occasional shopping excursion.

Visitation for Patti will be on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until services begin at 12:00 Noon, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. As it was Patti’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following her services and her final earthly remains will be interred at a later date at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
