Kelly, born in Joliet, IL February 20, 1989 to Gayle (House) and the late Harry Quinlan, was raised in Channahon, IL. She was a graduate of nearby Minooka High School where she perhaps gravitated to classes such as health and shop. Her shop teacher commented that Kelly was one of the best students he taught. From a very young age, Kelly aspired to be a doting mother, homemaker and supportive wife. And she succeeded.

Ron, born in San Bernardino, CA June 17, 1988 to Dawn Dillon and Ronald L. Dube, Jr, was raised in Romeoville, IL and graduated from Romeoville High School and continued his education by receiving a bachelor's degree. He enjoyed football, bowling, and camping. Ron aspired to work hard, provide and support. And he succeeded.

Together, united, they were in the midst of raising a young family with love, lessons, and the core values they both subscribed to as parents. And they were succeeding.

Kelly possessed a bold personality with a great sense of humor and had no problem voicing her opinion, yet a very common sense girl who was smart like her father. Ron, also known as “Dube” had a more relaxed and laid back personality, who always had a smile on his face. Kelly and Dube’s personalities were so different but they fit together so perfectly. They were the most loving and caring people you could meet. They were the type of people you could randomly stop in and they would ask if you want food or something to drink. Their door was always open and they were always inviting.

Those closest to Ron and Kelly, who will ensure Olivia, twins, Ryan and Hayley, and young Carter will continue a solid upbringing are as follows: grandparents, Gayle (Harry in spirit) Quinlan, Dawn Dillon Dube, Ron (Catherine) Dube; aunts, Melissa (Keith) Allen, Grace (Scott) Flaminio and Oryanna Dube (Jeremy Minor); cousins, Quinn Allen and Emery Minor. Great grandparents Claude and Florence Dillon, Ron L. (Eleanor) Dube, Sr., several great aunts and uncles including Claude Dillon Jr., Nancy Blum, and Daniel Dillon as well as many friends will be involved in these kids' endeavors throughout the years.

Those who have gone before Kelly and Dube include Kelly’s dad Harry and her grandmother, Elaine Blasdel whom she was very close to as well as Dube’s grandmother, Annamarie Pettit.

A Memorial Visitation for Ron and Kelly will be Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 4-7 pm at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Dube kids’ college fund would be appreciated.
