Sandra L. Harkins, of Joliet, passed away at the age of 76, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, with the love of her family by her side. Sandra was born in Streator, IL on September 13, 1945, the daughter of the late Frederick and Bernice (nee Wilkins) Reaska. She was raised in Magnolia, IL and was a graduate of Putnum High School.
Sandra was a hardworking woman who did whatever it took to provide for her family. She had a heart of gold and was always generous when it came to supporting any animal or wildlife organization. Above all, she loved her family more than anything. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Sandra is survived by her two sons, Craig (Cathy) Flesburg, and Michael (Marinna) Zsoter; five grandchildren, Craig (Carly) Flesburg, Gina (Davaughn Ervin) Godoy, and Zoe, Ezekiel, and Isaiah Zsoter; four great-grandchildren, Wyan and Madison Flesburg, and Isabella and Giovanni Ervin; and her siblings, Betty (the late Dean) Defrosia, and Dale (Betty) Reaska.
She is preceded by her husband, John E. “Jack” Harkins; and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to World Wildlife Foundation would be appreciated.
Funeral Services for Sandra L. Harkins will be held privately by the family and inurnment will take place at Magnolia Cemetery. As it was her request, cremation rites have been accorded.
