Sherri Lynn Puhl, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52, on November 28, 2022, at Loyola University Medical Center, after injuries sustained in an accident. She was born on September 22, 1970, the daughter of Wesley and Diana (nee Diefenbach) Puhl. Born and raised in Joliet, Sherri was a graduate of St. Francis Academy.

Sherri had a love for all animals that led her create her own business of grooming both dogs and cats. When she wasn’t caring for others pets, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her son Weston was the love of her life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sherri is survived by her only son, Weston Puhl; her parents; and three sisters, Tracy Gutierrez, Lisa Hodge, and Lesley (Junior) Flores. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Will County Humane Society, 24109 Seil Rd., Shorewood, IL, 60404.

A Memorial Gathering and Service for Sherri Lynn Puhl will be held at a later date.
