Plainfield Boy Injured During Louis Mall Slingshot Thrill Ride: Lawsuit

The 10-year-old hurt his leg while on a Slingshot Bungy Bounce, the lawsuit said.

A Plainfield boy suffered a gash to his leg when he slipped free from the harness of the Slingshot Bungy Bounce thrill ride at the Louis mall, his attorney said.

The mother of 10-year-old Dylan Gramley sued the Slingshot Bungy Bounce company, as well as Mall Attractions and Starwood Retail Partners. Dylan’s Mother, Stacie Gramley, filed her lawsuit in Will County court.

Dylan was injured in February 2012, according to the lawsuit, which said he was improperly secured to the ride. He slipped “about halfway out” of the ride’s harness and suffered a cut to his leg that required stitches to close, said attorney Frank Cservenyak.
