Police Blotter: Obstruction, Theft, Heroin Charges

Felony arrests made by the Joliet Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.

Charley J. Martin, 53, 620 Oneida, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 12 on a charge of felony theft.

Thomas F. Hutto, 40, 415 Wheeler, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 12 on charges of driving on a suspended license, improper use of registration or title, obstructing justice/destroying evidence, operating a motor vehicle with plate covered and unlawful display of a title/certificate and on two warrants for failure to appear.

Ashley Marie McReynolds, 18, 691 W. Bergera, Braidwood, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 12 on a charge of posession of a controlled substance.

Brandon L. Shaw, 25, 1405 Brown Ave., Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 12 on a charge of manufacture/delivery of cannabis: 30 to 500 grams.

Victor Gutierrez, 22, 3119 Fiday, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 13 on a felony charge of failure to report annually, a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Richard A. Elsner, 25, 100 N. Clement, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 13 on charges of felony retail theft and resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Sonya Clayton, 42, 1608 Fairmont, Lockport, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Nov. 14 on possession of 15 or more grams of heroin.
