Man Jailed For 3rd Time In 2026 For Violating Stalking Order From Joliet Neighbors: Complaint

JOLIET, IL — After being jailed in Will County for violation of a stalking order back in March and again in April, Joliet police arrested 64-year-old Kazimierz "Casey" Zaborski once again, this time over Labor Day weekend. He spent three days in custody this time, regaining his freedom on Tuesday evening, the jail logs show.

According to his newest criminal complaint from the Joliet Police Department, "said defendant, having been served notice or otherwise having acquired actual knowledge of the contents of the stalking no-contact order issued in 2025 OP 3360 issued by the Circuit Court of Will County on February 11, 2026, knowingly committed an act which was prohibited by a court under the no contact order, in that said defendant stalked ... a protected party, by getting closer to (the man)."

Zaborski resides in the Plainfield area, in the 2300 block of Willow Lakes Drive.

Two of Zaborski's neighbors from the 2300 block of Willow Lakes Court filed for the order of protection against Zaborski back on Dec. 31. Their order informed Will County's judges that Zaborski "speaks Polish, walks with a limp" and stands "about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

The two men noted in their Will County order of protection that problems with Zaborski began on Aug. 3, 2025. One of the men stated that Zaborski "followed me while walking my dog with his dog and getting extremely close while his dog was trying to aggressively get to my dog." The neighbor added, "There have been many times to where he has stood in front of my house and looked in my windows and made gestures in front of my driveway, swearing, threatening to sue myself and my partner."

The order of protection petition continues, "I have videos and have had to call the police multiple times to file a complaint against him. I have ... incident report numbers and multiple videos to provide if needed. This all started after we told him he could not open the fire hydrant on the island in our cul-de-sac to water his plants."

The two neighbors also referenced another incident they say happened late last year.

"Again, yelling at me in front of my driveway, stating it was public property, swearing at me, and continued to walk back and forth in front of my house. I had to call the police. The most recent incident was this past Sunday, December 28th when he threatened my partner with a rock while yelling at us in front of our house. One of the neighbors came out when we called the police and mentioned that this has been going on for quite a while. We were told to file this order by the officer and gave us another incident report number," the order of protection reads.
