Potted Plants Destroyed During Joliet Neighbor Dispute: JPD
On Sunday evening, Joliet officers responded to an apartment in the 400 block of Summit Street for a dispute.

JOLIET, IL — A 20-year-old Joliet man, Jorge Montalvo, was arrested Sunday evening after Joliet police say he became violent with one of his neighbors in a dispute about parking spaces for their respective vehicles.
Joliet police were called to the 400 block of Summit Street around 7:55 p.m. and Montalvo was taken into custody on charges of disorderly conduct.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English:

Officers determined that the female victim, who lives in a downstairs apartment, had been involved in a parking dispute with Montalvo, who lives in the upstairs apartment in the building.
Montalvo grew angry, picked up the victim’s potted plants, and threw them to the ground near a vehicle, damaging the plants.

Officers made contact with Montalvo and placed him into custody without incident.
Montalvo wasn't taken to the Will County Jail in this case. Instead, Joliet police released him on an I-Bond.
