Joliet YMCA Sued By Rathbun,Cservenyak, Kozol
The incident in question occurred on June 25, 2016, according to the new lawsuit.

JOLIET, IL - Rathbun, Cservenyak & Kozol has filed a civil lawsuit against the Joliet Young Men's Christian Association doing business as the Greater Joliet Area YMCA. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of client Anthony Arrington Jr. According to the allegations set forth by attorney Frank Cservenyak, Arrington was patronizing the YMCA at 749 Houbolt Road back on June 25, 2016. That facility is known as the Galowich Family YMCA.
"Plaintiff Anthony Arrington Jr. was caused to slip, stumble and fall due to the dangerous and unsafe conditions: to wit, slippery surface, located on the aforesaid premises," his lawyer argues.
"It was the duty of the defendant, YMCA, to properly manage, maintain and control said premises, specifically to properly mop and dry the floors of said location with reasonable care and caution so that those lawfully upon said premises, including the plaintiff, Anthony Arrington Jr., herein, would not be injured," attorney Cservenyak argues in his filing.

According to their lawsuit, "Anthony Arrington Jr. was caused to sustain severe and lasting injuries which have and will in the future cause him great pain and suffering, both physical and mental, and he has been and will in the future be compelled to expend large sums of money in and about medical aid and attention endeavoring to be cured of his injuries ..."
The plaintiff's lawsuit "prays for a judgment" against the Greater Joliet Area YMCA "in excess of $50,000 and costs of suit." Cservenyak's law firm has offices in Joliet, Plainfield and also Mokena.
