Raynor Ave. Domestic Violence Arrest For 33-Year-Old Man

JOLIET, IL — A 33-year-old Joliet man was released from the Will County Jail over the weekend after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail following his domestic battery arrest by Joliet police.

On Thursday, around 6 p.m., officers were called to the Abrahan Najera residence in the 400 block of North Raynor Avenue for a domestic disturbance.

Officers determined that a woman had been battered by her son, Najera, police reports show.

"During an argument, Najera pushed the victim from behind, causing the victim to fall onto a bed," police spokesman Dwayne English announced. "Najera then pushed the victim against the bed. The victim was able to get away from Najera and call 911. Najera was placed into custody on the scene without incident."
