Raynor Avenue Being Shut Down: City Of Joliet Reveals Length Of Latest Street Repair Project

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes for the duration of the work.

JOLIET, IL — As part of the Cunningham Phase 1 Water Main Improvement Project, new water main must be constructed along North Raynor Avenue between Plainfield Road and Moran Street, the city of Joliet announced in Thursday's press release.

The work to construct the new water main along N. Raynor Avenue will require full street closure for thru traffic between Plainfield Road and Moran Street. Local detours will be in place during this stage of the Cunnigham Phase Water Main Replacement Project. This stage of construction is scheduled to begin April 6and conclude May 4. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes for the duration of the work.
