Roommate On Raynor Ave. Suffers Injury After Being Punched In His Face Over And Over: Police
Joliet resident Michael Wrobel, 36, is no stranger to Will County's Jail. He was also incarcerated in 2024 and 2023.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet resident Michael Wrobel, 36, finds himself back in the Will County Jail for the third time in recent years after Joliet police arrested him on charges of domestic battery and resisting a peace officer.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 11:46 p.m. on April 3, officers responded to a gas station in the 600 block of Ruby Street for a report of a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a male victim who reported that he had been involved in an altercation with his roommate, Wrobel.

"It is alleged that while at a residence in the 900 block of
North Raynor Avenue, Wrobel struck the victim in the face multiple times following a verbal dispute, causing a small laceration near the victim’s left eyebrow. A witness on scene
corroborated this account," English said.
Officers responded to the Raynor Avenue residence and took Wrobel into custody following a brief foot pursuit. Wrobel was processed at the Joliet Police Department and transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

He remained in the Will County Jail as of Tuesday morning.
