Reckless Driving Arrest On West Marion: Joliet PD
Traveon Thompson was driving at a high rate of speed, screeching the tires and passing other cars on both sides of the street, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man who is in his mid-30s got arrested last weekend after Joliet police say Traveon Thompson was squealing his car's tires, speeding recklessly and passing other vehicles on both sides of the city's streets.
The incident leading to Thompson's arrest on charges of reckless driving and driving while license suspended happened around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, in the 1300 block of West Marion Street.
Joliet police saw Thompson driving recklessly and determined he had a suspended driver’s license, authorities said. After the arrest, Thompson's vehicle was towed. Thompson was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper lane usage, failure to signal and avoiding a traffic control device, Joliet police said.

Thompson, 36, was released on an I-Bond, according to police reports.
