Rialto Square Announces Buddy Guy, Gary LeVox Shows
The blues legend will perform in February of 2022, while the former Rascal Flatts front man brings his solo show to town Oct. 21, 2021.

JOLIET, IL —Rialto Square Theatre announced Monday that it has added two shows to its growing lineup of scheduled performances.
Blues legend Buddy Guy, 85, is scheduled to play the theater at 7:30 p.m. on February 26, 2022. The opening act will be Ronnie Baker Brooks.

Several months earlier, Gary LeVox, the former lead singer of the country band Rascal Flatts, will bring his solo "One on One Live!" tour to Rialto Square, 102 N. Chicago St., at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2021.

Guy, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and eight-time GRAMMY winner has inspired acts like The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and the late Stevie Ray Vaughn, according to The Los Angeles Times. In fact, The Rolling Stones recently wished Guy a Happy Birthday via Twitter.

Late last month, Guy was featured on PBS in "American Masters - Buddy Guy: The Blues Chase the Blues Away."

Tickets to Buddy Guy's show go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday. A presale begins at 10 a.m. Thursday.
LeVox, meanwhile, spent 20 years as the lead singer for Rascal Flatts, a band that had 17 No. 1 singles and sold over 23 million albums, according to People magazine.
The band had to cancel its much-anticipated farewell tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But LeVox has embarked on a solo chapter of his career, that combines two of his biggest passions - music and faith, according to his press materials.
LeVox's first solo single "The Distance," is one of five songs on his debut solo collection "ONE ON ONE!"
Tickets for LeVox's performance go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday. A presale will take place from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 a.m. Thursday.
