Are you a bird lover, specifically, hummingbirds? Then it's going to be your lucky day and, best of all, you won't even have to leave the comfort of your home, office, commuter train or wherever you are.

On Thursday, Aug. 15, the Forest Preserve District of Will County will be broadcasting a livestream from the District's very popular hummingbird feeders. It's a great way to start the day watching a flurry of activity as these birds zig and zag their way to the feeder, often coming so close to the camera that you'll hear them flapping their wings at an incredible rate of 53 times per second.

Grab a cup of coffee, log onto Facebook and enjoy a few minutes up close with the hummingbirds. The livestream will be pinned to the top of the District's Facebook page once it goes live. The broadcast will kick off at 7 a.m. and will last an hour.
