Rocket Pro Wrestling Updates

Last night I had the pleasure of attending Business After Hours hosted by Rocket Pro Wrestling. Held at St. Joseph Park, home of RPW, it attracted many area business folks.

I arrived early as usual and was immediately greeted by Bill Schelli, RPW founder and event coordinator. Similar to RPW events, despite being busy, Bill took time to chat for a few minutes before tending to more pressing matters.

As I approached the food spread, I was met by Captain Dave, who runs the kitchen at RPW shows. It isn't easy keeping hundreds of folks satisfied with quick moving lines and great food, but Captain Dave calmly does just that every time.

The rest of the night, I meandered around in and out of chats with attendees. I also caught up a bit with RPW owner Michelle Schelli, RPW event coordinator Will Schelli, RPW champ Steve Michaels, Rion Skillz and Damien Saint (How did I miss a selfie with Mr. Saint?).

It was as much a celebration of RPW as a typical Business After Hours event. RPW has come a long way in just a few years, thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Schelli family and their staff. RPW isn't just an independent wrestling company presenting shows at the park district. RPW is entrenched in the Joliet community.

As fun as yesterday was, Saturday promises to be even more entertaining as RPW presents Darkness Falls. It features a loaded card:
