JOLIET, IL — A March 4 head-on collision along Caton Farm Road that sent three people to the hospital has resulted in four felony charges of aggravated driving under the influence for a 31-year-old Aurora resident who remains at large.

The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow filed the felony complaint late last week against Andrew J. Caron in connection with his Friday night rollover crash that seriously injured a 34-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl.

Caron was also hospitalized following the head-on collision on Joliet's far west side.

The rollover crash happened along the stretch of Caton Farm Road near the frontage road for Interstate 55. Caron was driving a 2013 Ford F-450.

The Joliet Police Department informed Patch on the night of the crash that the injuries to the two women in the car were serious, but not life-threatening.

So far, Caron has not been taken into custody and there is no mugshot available.

The Will County Sheriff's Warrants website, which is usually kept up to date, had no information posted about Caron on its page as of Tuesday night, despite the severity of the case.

According to the bench warrant signed last week by Will County Judge Art Smigielski, Caron is white, 6-foot-2 and 250 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. His address in Aurora is listed as one of the apartment units in the 1000 block of North Farnsworth Avenue.

The arrest warrant was submitted by Joliet Police Officer Robert Mau Jr., and Judge Smigielski has set bail at $50,000 for Caron in the event that he is eventually captured or surrenders.
